SSN CAD Works is the business responsible for information you send directly to us about CAD services. For privacy questions or requests, contact ssncadworks@gmail.com.

This notice covers this CAD services site and related enquiries. The separate design platform has its own SSN 3D Prints Privacy Policy. Check that policy when using its studios and tools.

2. Information involved

• Enquiries: when you contact us, the communication may include your name, email address or phone number, messages, and project material you choose to send.
• Project files: drawings, images or documents may contain personal information in their content or metadata. Share only what is needed and ensure you have permission to share another person’s information.
• Website access: the hosting and access services may process IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps, security logs and authentication information to deliver and protect the site. The exact data depends on those services and their policies.

This website does not ask for payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information.

3. Why information is used

Information in a CAD enquiry is used to respond, clarify requirements, prepare a proposal and, if a project is agreed, communicate about and deliver that project. Relevant correspondence may also be needed to handle support requests, resolve disputes or meet applicable legal obligations.

Where a data protection law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the activity: taking steps you request before a contract, performing an agreed contract, meeting a legal obligation, or a legitimate business purpose where that basis is available and your rights do not override it. 4. External services and international processing

Our hosting and access service providers process requests needed to display and protect this website and may apply sign-in or security controls.

Clicking a WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp; sending a message shares the information with that service and SSN CAD Works. Email uses your chosen provider and our email provider. These services have their own privacy practices; see WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy for our Gmail contact channel.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable protections, transfer arrangements and processing locations depend on the service and relevant law. Contact us before sharing information that requires a particular storage location or transfer restriction.

5. Cookies and browser storage

The site’s own page code does not set cookies, use local storage or load advertising or analytics scripts. This does not mean the hosting, sign-in or linked external services are cookie-free; they may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking some storage may affect access or sign-in.

6. Retention and security

Retention depends on the information and its purpose: whether an enquiry remains active, whether project delivery or agreed support is ongoing, and whether records are needed for applicable legal duties or a dispute. No single fixed retention period is stated here for all correspondence or project files. Contact us for the period applicable to your project, to agree a file-return or deletion arrangement, or to request deletion.

Providers may retain logs, messages or backups under their own schedules. A deletion request to us does not automatically delete information independently held by a provider. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending passwords or unrelated sensitive information in a project enquiry.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact us to ask about information you have supplied, request access or correction, or request deletion. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a competent data protection authority. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
